For raw power to dominate drag races, the IS 500 trim levels offer a 5.0L V-8 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. In this configuration, the sports sedan burns rubber with 472 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque and rockets from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
